To become a member, you must be a licensed locksmith in South Carolina or pursuing locksmith certification. Complete our membership application, provide proof of licensing or enrollment in an approved program, pay annual dues, and agree to our code of ethics. SCLA offers various training programs including basic locksmith certification, advanced automotive techniques, commercial security systems, safe servicing, and continuing education workshops. We also provide CEU credits for license renewal. Check our events page for upcoming training schedules.

Most training events and workshops are open to non-members, though members receive discounted rates. Board meetings are open for observation by all members. Our annual convention welcomes industry professionals and vendors. Specific attendance policies vary by event.

Only current SCLA members can post classified ads. Visit our classifieds page and click "Post New Ad" to submit your listing. All ads are reviewed before publication to ensure compliance with our guidelines. Ads remain active for 60 days and can be renewed.
